I think my, Tim Tebow, has got quite a raw deal. This world we live in these-days, doesn't seem to give a flying-fuck about effort, intentions, or, even good-will, if somehow a 'win' doesn't come along with it. Here this poor man was giving his 100% for his team, his country, and even his God, all the while injured, and, without telling one human soul of his infliction; for no other reason than that he didn't want to let anyone down. But that matters not a bit apparently, because, after-all, he lost/right...and in the end, everyone was dissapointed with him. How typical, and, how very un-fare!! And more than anything, it is often because of a sense-of-loss these fans feel, that is at the root of their problem. And i'm not even talking about the loss of a game.
There is no doubt that when a city has a legion of footballers in for a game, city profits are expanded enormously. If that city claims eather a win or a loss, city coffers get stuffed with tourist-dollars. Naturally, a win is going to bring-in more bucks than a loss, because, people are more then inclined to stick around for all sorts of after-parties, and, other sporting activities; in honour of that win. But that's not love of ones team, but a love of materializum, and, the all mighty Dollar. And the love of the all-mighty-dollar myFriend, as we see every day around us, is bring too quick an end; to every squear-inch of earth we still dare to set our foot upon.
I don't think my Tim-bit failed anybody. If anything, his teams loss could have opened peoples eyes to their own greed. Indeed, this loss by theBronco's could be a good thing. It's all a matter of perspective, isn't it? So in the end just ask yourself...Was it not through the loss of His own life, that Jesus Christ brought a win to the whole of this earth. Losing is nothing. It's how one survives it; that earns thePoints!
In-other-words: It really isn't about weather you win or lose, but how you play-the-game.
amen
